Moto Guzzi Bellagio, 2009

Moto Guzzi Bellagio, 2009

ONE MOTORBIKE, ONE PLACE, ONE STYLE.

The new Bellagio symbolises the depth of the relationship between Moto Guzzi and its surrounding territory. This relationship is so strong that the immense beauty of the Lariano area affects both the ideas and creativity of man and in a sense leads him to create works of natural beauty in all his endeavours.

This empathy between the local environment and human inventiveness can be clearly seen in the new Moto Guzzi Bellagio that identifies a place known the world over for its beauty with the free spirit of those that revel in motor cycling. Individuality and sheer style are embodied in a reserved, but sophisticated design that displays highly advanced innovative technological solutions balanced with a trendy image.

The CARC (Reactive Shaft Drive System) is a good example of this advanced technology. This system transforms the might of the new 940 cc engine into silky smooth acceleration making this machine Moto Guzzi’s most powerful naked bike. Other indicators are seen in the presence of the progressive rear suspension system, in the Brembo floating caliper brake system that act on 320 mm discs, in the rear shock absorber and the fully adjustable forks. These technical high quality solutions favour active safety, set a dynamic equilibrium and provide such riding pleasure that the Bellagio is the new point of reference in the category. The Bellagio has the temperament of a naked under the skin of a custom machine. The spoked wheels, drag bar, rear-set saddle and forward positioned footpegs are just a few examples of the details of a style that concentrates weight on the rear wheel giving the impression of a bike that is fixed to the ground, ready to take off at the drop of a hat.

The new 940 cc engine is more than capable of making this machine fly. While the engine is docile and vibration-free, it puts out huge power with immense torque from even very low revs. This power can be heard in the legendary engine note emitted from new twin silencers that sing a song called Bellagio.

FEATURES:
  • New 940 cc engine
  • Progressive rear suspension system
  • Brembo floating caliper brake system that act on 320 mm discs
  • Ffully adjustable forks
  • Sparkling pearlescent white colour schemes that will be available on the Bellagio as the base for an elegant twin colour scheme to contrast with the chrome finish on the frame.

Key Features

Upside-down fork
The fully adjustable 48 mm fork from WP Suspension has been further optimised to ensure even more responsive handling and provide high damping reserves. Combined with the increased 22 mm offset (previously 19 mm) of the CNC-machined triple clamps, this guarantees more reliable front wheel control.

Airbox
Positioned directly behind the fuel cap, it is covered by the front section of the seat. The airbox’s elevated position guarantees the intake of cool, clean air and maximum wading depth. The intake duct is in the direct downdraft from the filter to the cylinder.

Tank
The slim, 8.5 litre tank runs far below the seat to provide an optimal centre of gravity and is equipped with both a compact fuel pump and new reserve sensor. The transparent polyethylene also enables the fill level to be determined at a glance.

Exhaust System
The integration of the stainless steel exhaust manifold offers optimum protection from rock damage and keeps the rider from coming into direct contact with it.

Brakes
The latest Brembo front brake with optimised front brake pads
for maximum braking performance at minimal effort. Effective single-piston brake caliper in the rear. Ultra-light wave discs for the ultimate braking performance and better self-cleaning of the brakes.

PDS Shock
Fully adjustable WP PDS shock with optimised setting for even more traction. Adjustable rebound damping and variable high and low speed compression damping guarantee the perfect configuration for all conditions.

Frame
Light double-cradle perimeter frame made of chrome-molybdenum. Guarantees the greatest torsional rigidity and secure tracking stability. Extremely slender lower tube loops. Minimal overall width. Unbeatable ground clearance.

Silencer
Especially light and made of highquality aluminium, the silencer assures compliance with all official noise limits.

Subframe
Cross-linked polyethylene (PE) ensures that the plastic construction has the highest stability values and a reduced weight at the same time. Many electric components have been perfectly imbedded in the rear fender.

Suzuki Biplane Concept Design

Probably not, but chances are you'll be able to fly in this thing and put just about any other vehicle on the road to shame with your speed. The Suzuki Biplane motorcycle that is currently on display at the Tokyo Auto Show was inspired design-wise by the classic Wright Brothers biplane, but I personally think it looks more like that red mean machine that Akira rode in the groundbreaking anime by Katsuhiro Otomo. Will there be secret wings hidden inside this beast?

2011 New Ducati Monster

All Monsters felt very light, small and easy to deal with, although the attitude muscles, the rider did not need muscle. A slightly different from 696 and 796 ergonomically big brother in 1100. Height of the seat is slightly higher than less, and slightly lower than Monster-greater, capacity. The wide handlebar provides excellent control of muscular front end, changes direction easily, and is feather-light feel.

If you are a medium-high to high rider, you will have trouble continuing to read the instrument when driving in high concentration mode, for example in the city center or in a congested highway. Nothing exciting about the instrument panel, so I ignored it completely to such a degree that I forgot to record accurate fuel consumption and things like that.

Only a very visible indication on the console is light gear change, which is useful when the tear-B on the road quickly. Hopefully I did not rack ticket is too much, because I rarely use the speedometer at all in my test.

With the new 2011 Monster 796, Ducati has completed the line-up of cold air standard. These are relics of the old 800 and put himself in the middle between the entry level 696 and 1100 more violent.
