A Tiger of a Different Stripe; the 2012 Triumph Tiger 2012

Nothing drastic, but Triumph made the changes to its Tiger 1050 where it counts the most:  Suspension.

The upgraded suspension delivers better damping characteristics for the front forks and rear shocks, with a 29-percent stiffer spring at the rear.

What does this mean for the riding experience?

Higher performance ride, greater stability and control in the corners, less nose-planting into the pavement under heavy braking and squat with acceleration.  Tough to argue with that.

Introducing the 2012 Triumph Tiger 1050

To go with the new suspension internals, Triumph spruced up the Tiger 1050 with revised graphics and fewer distracting shiny parts and bit.  Slightly lower handle bars add the finishing touch, and may decrease unintentional wheelies with this torque-happy triple 1050.

Not yet available for a test ride.  Reviews are expected to be quite good.

Cheers!
