The minivans usually have five doors, but there are also three-door (eg Renault Twingo , Peugeot 1007 and Renault Avantime ), Renault even defining it as a coupéspace .
One or two volumes hatchback is a vehicle whose silhouette has a recess at the base of the windshield . This type of vehicle has two separate volumes:
Historically, both volumes have an odd number of doors. There are in fact the tailgate as a door since it exists. A Renault 4 , a Renault 16 and almost all of the current two volumes are therefore three or five doors. But the tail did widespread in the 1970s on both volumes. The Citroën GS , the Peugeot 104 or the Alfa Romeo Alfasud are thus born with four doors, not five, although the two volumes. The opening of their chest in fact not directed only the rear and could not be counted as a door.
