Ducati 1199 Panigale Accessories: Beat Your Neighbor!

If I had a Ducati 1199 Panigale, I would be... the happiest person ever!!!

I would sleep next to it in the garage. Or allow it to have the bedroom and I would stay in the garage?  I would have framed pictures of it on my desk at the office.  I might paint “I own a 1199 Panigale; sucks to be you!!!” in big, bold letters on the roof of my house.

A bike with 195-desmo horses, powering a nimble, Italian-light machine weighing just 361.5lbs (dry weight), and producing 98.1 lb-ft torque @9000rpm.  The new monocoque chassis keeps the entire package under control.

Ohlins units front and rear as part of the Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) system (S and Tricolore only), electronically-adjustable 43mm Ohlins NIX30 fork for compression and rebound damping, an adjustable steering damper, and Ohlins TTX36 shock with separate damping adjustment in compression and rebound in the rear.

And for when you need to stop, ultra-compact Brembo Monobloc M50 calipers provide higher rigidity and resistance to fade during extreme braking.

Pretty.  Freakin’.  Awesome.

But what if there was another Ducati 1199 Panigale on the block?  How could I be sure to remain the coolest, baddest rider in the neighborhood?  How could I be sure people knew it was me, and not the other Panigale?

One word: Accessories.

Isn’t that the next most fun part of owning a motorcycle next to riding anyway?  Making it uniquely yours, a one-of-a-kind?

Luckily, Ducati understands that the just-off-the-boat-from-Bologna Panigale may not yet be the perfect Panigale.

So I have two more important words for all you future Panigale riders out there:  Carbon Fiber.  Or maybe three words.  Performance is pretty darned important too.

And gear.  Not the internal mechanism kind, either.  But the stuff that makes you look as though you belong on your 1199:

Warning: Arai Corsair V Nicky Hayden Replica helmet does not necessarily result in rider skills comparable to the Kentucky Kid.

But back to Carbon Fiber.  And performance.  Its about weight, strength, and looking like your Panigale has little of the first, but a whole lot of the latter.

There are Carbon Front Fenders and for the rear:

Not to mention Carbon Fiber highlights at the ignition coverclutch casesprocket, and shock.

And since this will be the view most others will have of the Panigale, the Panigale Carbon plate holder:

Panigale rearsets keep your feet firmly on the pegs. You will never regret installing the Reverse Rear Shifter. And there is no such thing as a complete Ducati lacking the Termignonis:

The full system Termignonis for the Panigale's revolutionary exhaust system.

Toss in some CRG adjustable levers, a smoke double-bubble windscreen, and a just-for-the-Panigale's new tank design Tank Protector, and a Panigale like no other is born.

And if all else fails, there's always hope the neighbor failed to install the 1199's alarm system when its time to steal his Panigale away.
